About Retrostate
Our Story
Retrostate is a female-owned, hand made brand for the cutest, hippest babies, toddlers and Juniors. With fashion forward designs, we hope to meet the needs of the most trendsetting customers.
Born in Northumberland, a rural part of England and having lived in various cities over the years, Valerie is inspired by both the city and the urban sprawl of city living!
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, it was always Val's dream to run her own business and offer something to customers that she could be proud of. It was luck, innovation and creativity that led her to start her own clothing company, back in 2014.
Experimenting with printing processes and designs over the years, she has developed a knack for choosing high standard clothing and fun design. These items are created with kids in mind, they are the customer we aim to please most! Items sold in Retrostate are researched and selected for high quality, often unique to our store. Moving away from the mass produced, cheapest items, we now focus only on quality of print and garment to ensure our items are the best we can make!
